Always send your commands in the body of an email to the list server address: listserv@softcon.com. Subject line is ignored.
For example, to get your current subscription settings and list server brief command reference, send an email:

To view your current subscription settings:
query survpc
To control your subscription settings:
set survpc <option> <option> <option> ...
For example:
set survpc nomime digests
Some frequently used options are:
nodigest | Receive each postings as individual emails. |
digests | Receive postings in digestified version (default). |
nomime | Traditional digest format, individual postings are concatenated into a single larger plain text email. |
mime | MIME digest format, same as above, except each postings separated with MIME separator; allows MIME compliant email clients to open each postings in the digest separately (default). |
nomail | Stop receive any email from the list, useful when you leave the list temporarily (i.e. for vacation). |
Receive emails from the list (default). | |
fullhdr | Turn off the [SURVPC] subject tag if you receive postings as individual emails. |
shorthdr | Same as above, also trim poster's ISP supplied header lines to reduce overall email size. |
subjecthdr | Full header lines plus [SURVPC] subject tag, useful to assist filtering and differ individual SurvPC postings from another mailing list(s) you subscribed or your private emails (default). |
