Before posting anything to the list, please take a moment to read a few ground rules:
New subscribers will receive digests, because this list was set with MIME digests as default subscription option for your convenience. The digest version is faster to download. Useful if you just want to "listening-in" to this list at your leisure.
If your email client can't handle MIME digests (or too slow for them), you could choose traditional (NoMIME) digest instead. Reading postings will also easier.
To receive postings in traditional digests, send an email:
---- To: listserv@softcon.com Subject: [ignored] Body of the message: set survpc nomime digests ----
If you decide to actively participate in this list, replying will be more promptly if you receive postings as individual emails.
To receive postings as individual emails, send an email:
---- To: listserv@softcon.com Subject: [ignored] Body of the message: set survpc nodigest ----
IMPORTANT - When replying a traditional digest to the list:
Emails sent to your address could bounced back to the list server. This usually caused by either temporary or permanent problem at your ISP. In order to keep the list clean, the moderator will take this action for members with bounced email address:
---- To: listserv@softcon.com Subject: [ignored] Body of the message: set survpc mail ----
---- To: listserv@softcon.com Subject: [ignored] Body of the message: subscribe survpc ----
Anyone allowed to read the list archives. To protect your email address from possible spammer's address spider, eGroups archiver always mangled all email addresses in your post before put it to the website.
To further protect your identity and email address, both archiver and list server member list are disabled by default. Even list members not allowed to access this information.
Please contact the list owner if you have any questions or problems related to this mailing list.
